The Blue Envelope Program Launches

I was honored that the bill I proposed, the Blue Envelope Program, was signed into law. The Governor held a press conference on Thursday, 1:00pm at the Saint Albans Police Department Headquarters to highlight the bill.


I believe this program provides those vulnerable citizens in our society that are driving with the challenges to communicate and having this visual cue of the blue envelope will allow the traffic stop to diffuse any situation that may have been in place prior to that visual cue.
